/ The dome
From Helfaut
Housed in a bunker, the World War II Museum guarantees a dive into history.
The dome was originally built by the Nazis as a V2 launch base. It now offers two tours, one on the period of the Occupation and the other on the discovery of the V2s and the hidden side of the space conquest.
A planetarium offering an immersion in the Universe thanks to 3D technology and an astronomical simulator complete the site.
Practical information
- La Coupole is open daily from 9am to 6pm all year round, in July and August from 10am to 7pm
- The 3D Planetarium offers at least 4 sessions of 50 minutes each day
Find more information on the official website of La Coupole.
/ City of
Saint-Omer
The town of Saint Omer attracts visitors who appreciate its cobbled streets, its medieval centre and its rich historical and architectural heritage.
Visit the cathedral, the Jesuit chapel, the remains of the Saint-Bertin abbey or the Italian-style theatre hidden in the town hall.
Stroll through the beautiful formal gardens and explore the marsh, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, on foot, by bike or by boat. The marsh is the last cultivated marshland in France: be sure to try the summer cauliflower with a local beer.
/ Golf de
Saint-Omer
Work on your swing on the Aa Saint-Omer Golf Club course. Take advantage of your stay at the Najeti Hôtel Château Tilques to discover this certified "Pôle d'Excellence Golfique", nestled between the Flanders plains and the Boulonnais hills.
